This Italian Language Course builds on what you learned either in Beginning Italian, Continuing Beginning Italian and Intermediate Italian level one, two and three of our program or language courses at another language class. Learn to converse with an Italian speaker.

Learn to Speak Italian!

In this class, you will be building knowledge of vocabulary through visuals and conversation. Although grammar and language structures, including the passatto prossimo, imperfetto, present progressive tenses, and more are covered, the emphasis of this Italian class is on speaking. You will learn through usage, topic oriented vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and how to employ a few helpful grammar points. Ancillary materials are used in class for auditory comprehension practice and pronunciation practice. Some composition writing and short readings are included in these ten weeks.
