The Language Learning Institute Opens in New Paltz

The Language Learning Institute, a full service language school in the capital district of New York State, is scheduled to open its doors in New Paltz with a Beginning French 4 hour seminar on May 15th from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Institute director, Nancy Scarselletta, announced today. The seminar will focus on French for Beginners and travelers. Soon after the seminar, regular classes in both Beginning French and Russian will be offered. Classes will be held in classrooms at Christ the King Episcopal Church on Eugene Brown Drive.
Once the proposed programs develop, offerings in many levels of French and Russian will be available. We plan to offer programs and special seminars for language, culture and history enthusiasts of all ages.
The classes will be taught by Yuliya Kornyeva,Ph.D. Yuliya holds a Masters Degree in Linguistics and a PhD in French Literature from Kyiv University of Kyiv, Ukraine.
Nancy Scarselletta holds a master’s degree in French from Middlebury College and a bachelor’s in French and secondary education from Siena College which includes a academic year study abroad from Hamilton College. She did additional course study which lead to certification in Pre-k through 6 Elementary. All certifications are permanent in New York State. She taught for more than 25years in many different settings. She opened The Language Learning Institute in an effort to expand the learning experience beyond the classroom setting.
