It was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling in 2016. This film is based on the bestselling novel by Jonas Jonasson. It’s a comedy featuring an unlikely series of events including historical figures, an elephant, a 100-year-old man, and many other outlandish characters. This film is rated R for profane language and moderate violence.
