Global Conservation

Madagascar is renowned for its beautiful wildlife and vegetation. Sadly, competitive farming threatens some of its incredible species. Many of the impoverished Malagasy farmers live in poor conditions. They see the forest as their only resource. Therefore, to ensure the safety of Madagascar’s precious and unique species, scientists are collecting samples for seed banks. It’s “ a race against time” to make all of the collections necessary.
