The Final Week: March 14th – 19th
The week of March 14th through 19th is the climax of Las Fallas. This is when the city reaches its peak of energy and celebration. The fallas sculptures are completed and on full display, attracting crowds from around the globe. Preparations for this final week take months of meticulous work—from designing and constructing the sculptures to organizing events and performances.
On the final night, March 19th, the festival culminates in La Cremà (The Burning). This dramatic event sees the fallas sculptures set ablaze in a symbolic farewell to winter and a celebration of renewal. The sight of these towering works of art consumed by flames is both breathtaking and bittersweet, a powerful reminder of the fleeting nature of beauty and life.
