Missed Class and Refund Policies

Missed Class Policy and Options for Adults

1. Homework Only Option: If absent, notify the instructor and get the homework assignments for the missed class. Students come to the next class prepared. (no additional cost)
2. Skype into the class live from your location (no additional cost)
3. Private Lesson: To be arranged and held within one week of the missed lesson. Student and Teacher meet and do the lesson together. ($65 additional fee)

Classes cannot be rescheduled and made up as a group.

Missed Class Policy for Children

There are no make-up classes. Children come to the next class and participate.

Missed Private Lesson Policy for Adults and Children

Cancellation of a private lesson needs 24 hours’ notice. If a private lesson is cancelled in less than 24 hours, the student forfeits the lesson.

PLEASE NOTE: When cancelling a lesson, every effort is made to reschedule within the same week OR double up the following week so that the 5-week cycles are maintained: doing so creates an educationally sound learning experience.

Refund Information: Group classes and Private Lessons

It is the policy of The Language Learning Institute that classes are paid in full before the start of the session and are not prorated if classes are missed or students withdraw.

Refund Information: Language Camps

No refund is made for cancelling a camp registration. However, a credit can be issued and applied to another language class or camp.

Refund Information: Events and Seminars

ALL ticket sales are considered final and no refunds are issued.
