This French Language Class is conducted completely in French while doing an in-depth study of French civilization beginning with the geography of France. Topics such as the history of France, politics, Francophone countries, the economy, society, and more, are studied and discussed. Learn to converse with a French speaker.

While the topics based on the Civilization of France are being studied and discussed, grammar is not forgotten. A thorough study of grammar is entwined into the material of this class. We start with the very simple and build to the complex. Homework is in the forms of reading and writing which reinforce, and add to, the opportunity for the following week’s conversation. This French class is held in French.
Qualifying for this Course:
First time students registering for this course must go through our placement process. This begins with our free French Level Assessment, which you can complete HERE. If you score Advanced, a more comprehensive evaluation—including both written and oral components—is required. This evaluation is $95 and is fully applied as a credit toward any course enrollment. This process is designed to insure that the course is appropriately matched to your level and goals.
