This beginning Spanish class is for children ages 5 to 9 who wish to learn to speak Spanish and have little or no background in the language. This class in Spanish is ideal for children with little or no background in Spanish.
Class Description
Through the Spanish Language Class for Children, students will build a foundation for effective speech and listening comprehension. Children will learn to converse with a Spanish speaker and students who have little or no experience with Spanish will enjoy this class.

The class is ongoing and covers greetings, numbers, body parts, seasons, weather, clothing, family members, and more. Songs, flashcards, stories, crafts, and games facilitate language acquisition, and the class environment encourages and fosters speaking in Spanish. Throughout the course students experience speech development in Spanish moving from isolated words to sentence fragments to short sentences.
